Bethany is originally from Preston, Lancashire and now resides in Greenwich. She came into printmaking from studying History of Art at The University of York and subsequently undertook a Fine Art Foundation Course at the Slade School of Fine Art and further study at Kensington and Chelsea College.

Grounded in life drawing, her practice is interested in exposing the figure – whether that is through self-scrutiny or attempting to capture the aura of the model. Bethany often draws from life directly onto plates and enjoys working with a removal of material – using collagraph, linocut and etching processes.
