Kit's artworks explore our relationship with landscape and our place in nature, ecologically, spiritually and emotionally. Many images fall between the pastoral and the surreal.
He follows the British romantic tradition with reference to Samuel Palmer and the neo-romantic artists Graham Sutherland, Paul Nash, John Craxton, John Minton, Keith Vaughan, & Eric Ravilious.
Green men appear quite often in his work, often being born from stems and trunks in dense foliage.
Most of his etchings follow on from an original colour painting or drawing. These can be seen on his website.
Hand-coloured versions of some etchings are also available.
